This is from Betsy's page.
It reveals the real human cost of the Duke false rape case. In Betsy's last paragraph she brings up a great object lesson. No DNA evidence, lots of lies and changing stories from the person bringing the charges. But because they are "presumed" wealthy and elite white people, none of that matters. This reveals the sickness that is liberalism in our country more than anything. It is the overwhelming instinct to blame all bad things ... more » Wednesday, August 30

'Fess Up, Tubemeister!
Here’s the exciting background: There’s a bipartisan Senate bill that would actually do something good for a change. S. 2590 would create a Google-style public database that would show who gets government money through contracts and grants. But a single anonymous ... more » Friday, August 25

Quick! When I say the following, who springs into your mind? Smug, Pompous, left wing extremist, popinjay. If you said:
Bryant Gumbel, go to the head of the class. Bryant had this to say to the new NFL commissioner. "Before he cleans out his office, Have Paul Tagliabue show you where he keeps Gene Upshaw's leash. By making the docile head of the players union his personal pet, your predecessor has kept the peace without giving players the kind ... more » Wednesday, August 23

The Wisdom of Famous Economist Milton Friedman:
"The most important single central fact about a free market is that no exchange takes place unless both parties benefit." "Nobody spends somebody else's money as carefully as he spends his own. Nobody uses somebody else's resources as carefully as he uses his own. So if you want efficiency and effectiveness, if you want knowledge to be properly utilized, you have to do it through the means of private property." "Governments never learn. ... more » Thursday, August 17

Here is what he said in a recent interview.
"the concerns I exposed have gotten even worse now with the United States supporting and encouraging Israel in its unjustified attack on Lebanon." Read the whole sad thing here. Hey Jimmy! Shut up! why don't you just drop dead already you sad, sorry stupid excuse for a human being. You have NEVER EVER been right about any issue in your life. You reflexively hate your own country, so of course ... more » Tuesday, August 15

The liberals are absolutely apoplectic about Fox News. They now call it Faux News, oh how very clever. A so call watchdog group called Newshounds had this as a cover article:
Faux Democrat Juan Williams Shills for Faux NewsReported by Janie-Now that Juan Williams has published a book Critical of the old civil rights leadership I am sure they will attack him even more. But the truth is Juan is indeed a Liberal and remains very left ... more » Sunday, August 13

![]() Here is a picture of David Carr, Quarterback of the Houston Texans. All you fantasy buffs, don't overlook Carr. He is durable (look at the pounding he took in his first four years, he ate more turf than a mountain goat). He has a big time arm. And this year he will have a much improved line and three big time targets. Andre Johnson, Eric Moulds, and TE Jeff Putzier. If you are not into fantasy football, its a ... more » Friday, August 11

In the mad rush of life, in all the epic events taking place in the world. Sometimes it helps to contemplate the small treasures life has to offer.
Today, at work, I met a lovely woman. She was an immigrant from Honduras who had been living in New Orleans. She had a small child and her husband was in Iraq. Her home had been destroyed by Katrina. First she lived in a FEMA trailer, then a small aprtment ... more » Wednesday, August 9

Well for one thing it means we will hear no end in the MSM about the victory for the Kos and DU and other Netrats crowd. They will be so full of themselves that after about twenty or so tries they finally backed a candidate who won a primary.
It also means that the Democratic party is in deep do-do. You can kiss goodbye their delusions of massively defeating the Republicans in 2006. They might still manage to ... more » Sunday, August 6

I am one month late in reporting this, But last night I saw a conference on C-span which was held on July 4th. It was a conference on the modern conservative movement held by the Aspen Institute in conjunction with the Atlantic Magazine. Maybe if I still read The Atlantic I would have known about it sooner.
The panel had the big old Lefty Richard Cohen, the beleaguered moderate Morton Kondracke and conservatives such as Ramesh Ponnuru and Laura ... more » Thursday, August 3

The other night, I saw the beginning of the Olbermann show, and he was
laughing at a bad review of his rival, O’Reilly’s book. I thought that
not only un-newsworthy, but unworthy in general.

I am frightened by the vegetarian/vegan crowd. I am frightened of their zeal and fanaticism. I wish it could be a case of Different Strokes for different folks, but I fear that it won't be long before the ACLU is suing me for cruelty to animals. Or some nut job starts to poison people at restaurants.
If you think I am over reacting, I wish you would read some of the literature these people write to each other. ... more » |
